This 90-minute webinar for litigators, in-house counsel, judges, information management professionals, law faculty and students discusses the nuts-and-bolts legal issues regarding social media and presents:
  • Guidelines for corporate use and management of social media, as well as principles for the preservation, collection and production of social media ESI in discovery
  • The view from the Bench: judicial perspectives on the current impact of social media on discovery issues and expectations for future developments
  • A roundtable discussion with questions and answers on social media policy construction, including recent guidance from the National Labor Relations Board, governance issues, records retention, preservation, search tools, provider access, meet-and-confer considerations, and authentication
Moderated by Jonathan Redgrave, chair-emeritus of The Sedona Conference®Working Group 1 on Electronic Document Retention and Production, the faculty includes The Hon. Kristen Mix, author of a recently published scholarly article on the discovery of social media, as well as Alitia Faccone and Ronni Solomon, senior co-editors of The Sedona Conference®Primer on Social Media. The panel will take your questions by text and telephone during the program.
